TRINITY NEWSLETTER

January 6th, 2023

Hi ,
Happy New Year 2023!

Sunday Service: Heart Prep

Message: A Prayer of Power

Speaker: Pastor Paul Lasanté

In the coming 3 weeks of January, we will be completing a series of sermons on the theme of Prayer. The goal will be to demonstrate that prayer can be an important - even POWERFUL - part of your Christian life! We can teach about how to pray and how to setup our lives in such a way as to pray with power,  because God is all-powerful! A variation on what William Carrey once said, “God is great, expect great things from God. Attempt great things for God.” That’s exactly what we do when we pray. In the next 3 weeks, we will offer:
  • a prayer of power for our lives,
  • a prayer of vision for our city, and
  • a prayer of determination for our families
This Sunday, we are going to look at the keys to a prayer of power from the life of king Hezekiah. Consider reading the story in 2 Kings chapter 19. Blessings to you today.

Meet n' Greet

Are you new to Trinity? Do you have Questions about how you can serve the Lord here? Do you need prayer for a specific situation? This Sunday after both services, come out to the chapel and meet with leaders who can provide you with advice, suggestions, feedback, and support. We want you to know that you are part of the community of believers at Trinity. We are here to serve you!

Saturday Evening Prayer

January 7th, 14th, and 21st @ 7:00pm

In this first month of the year, as we focus on a journey of prayer, we would like to offer you a chance to come together and pray for our personal challenges, our city, our families, and our church. In contrast to the more structured approach of our Wednesday prayer meetings, these Saturday evenings will offer a less formal approach to praying together. What you can expect from these gatherings is simple: a list of prayer topics and the freedom to pray for those things along with whatever else is on your heart. Feel free to pray alone, with others, quietly, or out-loud. We just kindly ask to remain mindful of those around you. Come and join us in committing our lives once again to prayer with expectant hearts.

Volunteer Opportunity

We are looking for people to join our Kitchen ministry. If you are interested in serving in the café on Sunday mornings along with a dynamic team, please text/call Emily Osborne at 514-793-0531.

Builders Needed

If you are a skilled builder/handyman, we have a project we’d like to throw your way. In an attempt to bridge the spacial gap between the first rows and our stage, we are looking to build a mobile circular platform. In addition to this, we are also looking to build 3 more platforms for our cameras. For more details, send an email to nbelec@trinitymontreal.ca and we’ll get back to you! Compensation to be discussed.
