TRINITY NEWSLETTER

January13th, 2023

Hi,
As a church, it is one of our primary responsibilities to reach out to our community by doing good works and sharing the story of Jesus. This past Christmas, Trinity's Young Adults group volunteered their time by offering gifts and food to families in need. With your help and generosity, we were able to bless 25 families from LaSalle. This Sunday, we would like to take the time to encourage and highlight our local outreach ministry by taking up a special offering in hopes of continuing to bless our community.

Sunday Service: Heart Prep

Message: A Prayer for our City

Speaker: Pastor Paul Lasanté

In the Bible, there are many passages that tell us of a God who visited cities to have a look around:
  • Babylon, where people were building the tower of Babel
  • Sodom and Gomorrah, the first gated community
  • Nineveh, the capital of a conquering empire
  • Jerusalem, the apple of God’s eye
These are cities that God specifically chose to go see for himself in order to see what was happening in them. Therefore, we can conclude that if we want to learn to pray for our city, we need to do so by walking through it, looking at it, and learning about it.
  • Do you care about your city?
  • Do you have a passion for this city?
  • Do you pray for this city?
Come and hear more this Sunday. God bless.

Prayer Groups

In Matthew 18:20, Jesus says  "for where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am there among them." As we focus on prayer through the month of January, we would love for you to come out to one of our prayer gatherings held right here at Trinity. Here are a few meetings to choose from:
  • Monday evenings at 7pm lead by Francis Pergass
  • Tuesday mornings at 7am lead by Francis Pergass
  • Wednesday mornings at 10am lead by Pauline Clarke
  • Wednesday evenings at 7pm lead by Tecle and Salwa
  • Saturday evenings at 7pm (for the month of January only) lead by Pastor Paul
Let's come together in the Lord for a powerful and prayerful January.

We would love to get to know you, as you join in with a cohort of peers and journey through this half day seminar that will explore "Who We Are" and "What's Your Place" here at Trinity.
