Hi , We sure hope you've been staying safe and warm in this snowy weather! 

The Bible states “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” It’s possible to spend hours listening to sermons and praying, yet still be walking through life in darkness with no clear vision of where we are going and how to get there. How much time are you spending in God’s Word? Is daily bible reading a regular part of your devotional life? Whether you read often or not at all join us this Sunday as we explore the wonderous depth of what God’s Word is to the believer.

Please have a look at these verses as you prepare for the service.

• Joshua 1:8 “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”
• Psalm 19:7-11 “The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; the precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes; the fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; the rules of the Lord are true, and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold, sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb. Moreover, by them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward.”
• Romans 15:4 “For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.”

Join us for the very first Family & Life seminar as it launches on Wednesday, February 8th. This seminar is part of our ongoing Call to Leadership series. Its purpose is to encourage you to be part of a team dedicated to the development and betterment of family life and personal wellness in our church.  
The theme of this seminar is encouraging and promoting healthy family habits. The topics covered will be:

• The family from a Biblical perspective (Biblical discipline, influence, prayer) 
• How to keep your cool when the kids are losing theirs
• Creating family time when EVERYTHING seems to work against it
• Balancing family, couple relationships, and individual spiritual development. 

Childcare will be provided for the duration of the seminar.
