TRINITY NEWSLETTER

January 20th, 2023

Hi , Wishing you and your family a wonderful weekend in the Lord!

Here's what you can excpect in the near future at Trinity.

Sunday Service: Heart Prep

Message: A Prayer for Family

Speaker: Pastor Paul Lasanté

This Sunday will be the last in a series that we have been working on since the beginning of the year. This week's theme is a prayer of determination for our family.

In Genesis 32, we find an interesting story about how God wrestled with Jacob as he found himself in one of the most critical moments of his life. We don’t know why God chose to wrestle with him, but He knew it was what Jacob needed. The wrestling drew Jacob out of himself and his fears, and forced him to focus on God. Jacob’s struggle with God that night was for his family.
  • Have you ever wrestled with God for your family?
  • What are the issues that you would be willing to “have it out” with God over?
  • What would you be willing to give in order to receive a blessing from God for your family?
Blessings to you today! See you Sunday.

Men's Fellowship Breakfast

The men's ministry is launching a monthly "Fellowship Breakfast" outing starting on Saturday, February 4th @ 8:30am. Location to be determined.

Join our First Responders' Team

Do you work in the medical field or have your First Aid qualifications? As we are currently in the process of updating our list of First Responders, our desire is to build a team comprised of volunteers from all walks of life in order to bring different skills and experiences to the table. If you regularly attend our services and are interested in being part of a team that is trained to adequately respond in case of on-site emergencies, kindly send us an email at info@trinitymontreal.ca.

Youth Skating

If you are of High School age, Trinity's Youth group invites you to come skating on Saturday, January 28th at 12pm at Atrium le 1000. We will be meeting at Angrignon at 11am and taking the metro together to Station de la Gauchetière. Atrium le 1000 has an indoor skating rink that offers rentals if you don't have your own skates. The rink is also surrounded by a food court, so if you prefer not to skate but would still like to hang out, you are welcome to simply sit around and talk with other youth while grabbing a bite! This is the perfect opportunity to invite a friend and have fun skating -- or learning how! See you there!

Partnership Seminar

Our next Partnership Seminar is taking place on February 11th, from 10am to 1:30pm. As a participant, you have an exclusive invitation to join us for a continental breakfast as of 9:15am!

By becoming a partner, you participate actively in the health and mission of our church. Our partnership seminar is the first step in becoming an inclusive part of life at Trinity.
We would love to get to know you, as you join in with a cohort of peers and journey through this half day seminar that will explore "Who We Are" and "What's Your Place" here at Trinity.
