Hi, Spring is right around the corner! We sure hope you've been enjoying the longer days. As the world slowly awakens from its winter slumber, we are reminded of the new beginnings that Spring has in store. Wishing you a blessed weekend in the Lord!

Sunday Service: Heart Prep

Message: "I thirst"
Speaker: Richard Swiatek

As we continue our series on Words from the Cross, this week we look at Jesus declaring that he is thirsty.
We can sometimes overlook the humanity of Jesus as we read of all the amazing miracles he performed.  We tend to see him as God in the flesh. It is also important to remember that as Jesus hung hour after hour on the cross, he was fully human. Only a human could pay the penalty for our sins. Someone who knew what it is to experience all of our pain and trouble. His intense thirst points us to his humanity. What set Jesus apart and made him the perfect sacrifice was that he never sinned against God.

Please take the time to read the following verses to see Christ’s humanity. As you read, remember that He knows all that you are experiencing and is willing to carry those burdens for you if you would only ask Him.
  • 2 Corinthians 5:21: God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.
  • Hebrews 2:14: Since the children have flesh and blood, He too shared in their humanity so that by His death He might break the power of him who holds the power of death — that is, the devil.
  • Hebrews 4:15: For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are — yet He did not sin.
  • Matthew 4:2: After fasting forty days and forty nights, He was hungry.
  • John 4:7: When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, “Will you give me a drink?”
  • John 19:28: Later, knowing that everything had now been finished, and so that Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, “I am thirsty.”

Youth Sugar Shack

Trinity's Youth group is going to the Sugar Shack on Saturday, April 1st. Parents of the youth are invited to join us for this event. This is a good opportunity for families of the youth to connect and create a stronger bond of community. There is a limit of 50 people and tickets are 25$ per person (best price in town). First come first served! Please sign up and pay through our registration page. If you have any questions, contact Nathan Orfin, our Youth Ministry Leader, at norfin@trinitymontreal.ca.

Family Dedication

"Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him." (Psalm 127:3)

A Family Dedication is an opportunity to thank God for the precious gift of your new child. If you are interested in being part of our next family dedication on Sunday, March 26th, please fill out an application on our app or right here.

Easter Baptisms

One of the greatest ways for us to symbolically reflect unity with Christ in resurrection is by being baptized in water. Have you made Jesus Lord in your life recently but have yet to be baptized? If so, we want to invite you to prayerfully consider signing up to be baptized on Resurrection Sunday! If you want to publicly dedicate your life to Christ in this symbolic and significant way on April 9th, then let us know by registering here.

Easter Choir Call

Do you have a passion for singing? Ever had the desire to be part of a greater group of singers, but perhaps find yourself held back due to timidness or lack of time? The choir is a great opportunity to get your feet wet without long-term obligation. We welcome all who have a passion for song and a desire to be part of a vibrant community of singers. This Easter Sunday Service, April 9th at 9am and 11am, let your voice be heard and join us in spreading the message of hope in Christ through music.

Please register here by Sunday, March 19th, if you are interested. We will provide you with all the information you need, including songs, rehearsal schedules, and more.
